In continuation of my despatch No. 21 of 7th
June, 1922 I have the honour to smolose translation of
the Chinese reply to the statement made by the Governor
of Maono, in connection with the recent shanting in-
cident in that Colony, as published in to-day's issue
of the Canton Times.
